TC Tech is a tech initiative that promotes community development by linking people to opportunities, individuals and institutions engaged in Digital Literacy, Entrepreneurship, Leadership and Personal Development. We achieve our mission through: 1) Identification, development and empowerment of potentials through feasibility studies, sensitization campaigns, capacity building seminars and workshops, focused on Digital Literacy, Entrepreneurship, Leadership, and Personal Development. ­ 2) Digital content creation, marketing and distribution for community development. ­ 3) Partnerships and collaboration with community Partners/Sponsors made up of individuals, leading tech institutions, NGOs and other institutions aimed at social and economic development. At TC Tech, we believe that the word POOR is an abbreviation which stands for Passing Over Opportunities Repeatedly. About 46% of Cameroonians live below the poverty line the unemployment rate stands at over 30% while under-employment is 75% (GESP 2010). The youth population is in the majority with over 70% below 35 years. TC Tech is aware of the countless tech related initiatives, youth empowerment programs and opportunities both local and international with proven track records that can greatly improve and empower persons, especially the youths. TC Tech believes that by empowering youths with Digital Literacy skills and linking them to available opportunities, institutions and organizations that promote Digital Literacy, Entrepreneurship, Leadership and Personal Development, youths can greatly take advantage of these resources and improve upon their Digital Literacy levels, unemployment and/or under-employment status by becoming self-reliant, self-employed tech-entrepreneurs and also help in empowering and mentoring others leading to a healthy tech-entrepreneurial ecosystem.   TC Tech’s MAJOR GOAL THIS YEAR IS TO REGISTER AND IMPROVE ON AT LEAST 2000 TC Tech MEMBERS BY DECEMBER 31ST 2018.
